Kannah’s environmental and social responsibility focuses on three areas:
- New programs and public policies that mitigate climate change. We support our clients in their energy and sustainability goals. When our client reduces carbon, we report how much we helped them save.
- Sustainable energy future. This includes business operations goals for Kannah, including the goal of Zero Net Energy operation, and also philanthropic giving to organizations located in the places where we work that are focused on climate change issues.
- Science and engineering education. If we are able to solve the climate problems of the future, we need to support building the next generation of scientists and engineers of all backgrounds, ethnicities, and genders. Kannah volunteers in elementary math and science classrooms, talking to students about being scientists serving as a role model for future students.
